SERVING OUR RESIDENTS

A FREE AED FOR PAVILION ESTATE

As part of our commitment to making Bukit Gombak a heart-safe community, we have installed an automated external defibrillator (AED) at Pavilion Playground II!
Free certified CPR and AED training was also conducted. Residents who completed the training could choose to become Community First Responders. In the event of an emergency, the nearest Community First Responders will be alerted via a mobile app to head down and provide assistance before the arrival of an ambulance. This could drastically increase a victim’s chance of survival. We hope having an AED within reach will provide all residents with a peace of mind.

NATIONAL DAY OBSERVANCE CEREMONY

Over 1,200 Bukit Gombak residents gathered on 9th August this year to celebrate National Day. Students from Hillgrove Secondary School’s Band, Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade, as well as students from Lianhua Primary School’s Chinese Dance team also joined us for the celebration.

MERDEKA GENERATION APPRECIATION CEREMONY & FAMILY CARNIVAL 2019

Residents of all ages were treated to a day of fun on 17th November 2019. Families enjoyed performances by Happy Fei Fei as well as delicious food. Participants were even given a special memorabilia: a custom-made ez-link card featuring two historic events that happened in Bukit Gombak. Seniors also got a chance to learn more about the benefits of the Merdeka Generation Package.

IMPROVING YOUR ESTATE

A NEW PLAYGROUND FOR ALL TO ENJOY

The new Pavilion Playground II is not just a play area for kids; plenty of community events have been held there as well! These events include our yearly Mid-Autumn celebrations and the Merdeka Generation Roadshow. It's a great space for some family and neighbouring bonding! The playground will also serve as a side entrance for the upcoming Bukit Gombak Park.

ENHANCED CONNECTIVITY WITH EXTENDED ROUTE FOR BUS 991

The route for Bus Service 991 was extended in September 2018. Residents now have a more convenient way to get around the neighbourhood. Bus 991 now travels between Bukit Batok and Choa Chu Kang Bus Interchanges via Bukit Batok West Avenue 5. The extended route has enhanced connectivity, providing residents with easy access to Bukit Gombak MRT, Bukit Gombak Neighbourhood Centre and other amenities within the neighbourhood.

We have constructed an additional 110m footpath earlier to connect residents living along Pavilion Circle to Bukit Batok West Avenue 5. This has made the bus stops opposite and in front of Bukit Batok Driving Centre (Stop IDs 43529 and 43521 respectively) more accessible.

The frequency of bus arrivals has also increased since May, reducing peak-period waiting times from 10-12 min to 7-10 min.
